VOZ U SNEGU je dečji klasik voljenog pisca Mate Lovraka, uz koga su odrastale i sazrevale generacije mladih čitalaca.

Troje učenika četvrtog razreda živi u Jabukovcu u Velikom Selu. Njihova imena su Ljuban, Draga i Pero. Učitelj vodi učenike te seoske škole na putovanje vozom do grada. Tamo, u štampariji, zahvalili su se pesmom za besplatno putovanje u Zagreb, a na kraju su otišli u zoološki vrt. Međutim, učiteljica se razboli u gradu i ostaje u bolnici, a deca moraju sama da se vrate. Na povratku ih zahvata zimska oluja i voz se zaustavlja ispred snežnog nanosa. Zahvaljujući pomoći dece, železnički radnici oslobađaju voz.
