Čarobni zeleni kišobran

Čarobni zeleni kišobran

Antoaneta Klobučar

This is an interesting story about a wandering magic umbrella that saves its current - alone, sad, mournful, dissatisfied, frowning - owners from the rain, but even more so - from dissatisfaction, unhappiness, sadness.

The magic umbrella makes its owners happy, so they dance and jump with happiness and joy. The umbrella reconciles the quarreling friends, the umbrella man and master Joza, unites the boy and the girl, helps the doctor, and saves the stewardess from the London rain. Our umbrella could be found in a wide variety of places: in hospital waiting rooms, under school desks, at the railway station, in trams and buses, on ships.

Several times it was left as forgotten luggage on airplanes. He was also a frequent resident of the lost property office. Believe it or not, he even flew a rocket once. It would always be found by whoever needed it the most at that moment. And that means the saddest or loneliest person who passed by him.

As strange as it was, those who were happy didn't even notice him. And it was so fluorescent that it almost didn't glow in the dark - it shone and spread light around it - light that meant happiness, joy... And, what's most beautiful - with that light it made happy all those who were alone, sad, unhappy... who needed its light.

It was truly magic – and he was a magic umbrella!
