Ivo Režek (1898 – 1979) was a Croatian painter, known for his work in the first half of the 20th century, and especially for his works created between the two world wars.
Inside the railway station complex designed by Laloux in 1900, one can find numerous masterpieces by famous authors.
The book contains an overview of the masterpieces that are hidden behind the front doors of the gallery.
The monograph presents the most precious works from the collection of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which was opened in 1902 and was initiated by the Frenchman Auguste Mariette.
