Zagor LU #117: Otok sjena
Zagor and the Fianna must reach Donn’s Black Tower in Dun Scaith. Seemingly invincible Shadow Warriors block their path as the fate of Erin and Darkwood hangs in the balance.
In Otok sjena, Zagor’s adventure among Celtic heroes leads towards Donn’s Black Tower in the dark land of Dun Scaith. To save Erin and Darkwood, Zagor and his Fianna allies must reach a forbidding destination. Seemingly invincible Shadow Warriors stand in their way, while uncertainty about Kandrax’s whereabouts makes their mission even more dangerous.
Mauro Boselli develops a conflict that extends beyond the boundaries of a single world. The mythological realm is more than an exotic setting: events there are directly connected to the threat facing Zagor’s homeland. He must accept the help of new companions and confront opponents whose powers demand more than physical courage.
Celtic mythology, sorcery and adventure shape this section of the saga. Friendship and a shared purpose unite heroes from different worlds, while the search for Kandrax maintains the suspense and moves the larger storyline towards its final confrontation.
The issue also marks an artistic transition. Marco Torricelli concludes the preceding adventure, and Carlo Raffaele Marcello begins the next section. As a result, Otok sjena forms an important bridge within the wider Kandrax saga, concluded in Ludens #118, Vječni rat. Readers will benefit from following the sequence from #114.
