Zagor LU #271: Na povratku kući

Na povratku kući connects the conclusion of an island adventure with the beginning of a new conflict in Darkwood. Returning from a long journey brings no lasting peace, only a transition from one danger to another.

In the opening story, Zagor supports Moon, a young woman with an unusual bond with foxes, against Lord Jethro. The conclusion explores the roots of his hostility, completing an adventure in which nature forms an essential part of the island’s mystery.

Zagor and Chico then leave distant lands behind and return home. Someone, however, has prepared an unwelcome reception. Fantasy gives way to the threat of personal revenge, changing the issue’s atmosphere and narrative direction.

Colombo and Giusfredi conclude the island story with Ferri’s artwork, while Burattini and Verni introduce the next adventure. This change of creators accompanies a shift from Moon’s conflict to the disturbing possibility that home itself is no longer safe.

The issue concludes Gospodar otoka and opens the Mortimer storyline spanning Ludens #271–274, continued in Mučna osveta and Požar na Golden Baby, and concluded in Mortimer: Zadnji čin.
