Eva Dunkpof kidnaps Baron Icaro La Plume to force him to lead her to Ol Undas, a mysterious city atop an inaccessible crag. Her father once worked with the Baron on a flying catamaran. Now, supported by hired criminals, she intends to reach the city and seize its technological secrets.
Otmica Ikara la Plumea brings Zagor back to a place he previously visited with Chico and the Baron. They discovered a community isolated from the outside world for millennia. The return to a lost city raises questions about what has happened to its inhabitants and the dangers of seeking control over their legacy.
A flying ship supported by balloons is built for the ascent, and Zagor manages to get aboard. Rescuing his friend becomes a science-fiction expedition, combining invention with the exploration of an advanced ancient civilisation.
Mirko Perniola and Moreno Burattini write the adventure, illustrated by Fabrizio Russo with colours by GFB Comics. It will particularly appeal to readers who enjoy Baron La Plume, unusual aircraft and Zagor’s encounters with secrets from the distant past.
