"Zbornik proze XVI. i XVII. stoljeća" dio je edicije "Pet stoljeća hrvatske književnosti" i predstavlja izbor proznih djela hrvatskih autora iz 16. i 17. stoljeća. Knjigu je priredio Jakša Ravlić.

Ovaj zbornik obuhvaća radove značajnih hrvatskih književnika tog razdoblja, pružajući uvid u razvoj hrvatske proze tijekom renesanse i baroka. Brojni autori zastupljeni su u zborniku, a neki od njih su:

Nikša Ranjina: Poznat po svojoj zbirci pjesama "Ranjinina zbirka", koja sadrži pjesme različitih autora, ali i njegove vlastite.

Marko Marulić: "Otac hrvatske književnosti", najpoznatiji po svom epu "Judita".
