"Vreme smrti" je četverodijelni roman Dobrice Ćosića, objavljen između 1972. i 1979. godine, koji se smatra jednim od najznačajnijih djela srpske književnosti 20. stoljeća.

Roman kronološki prati događaje tijekom Prvog svjetskog rata, s posebnim naglaskom na sudbinu srpskog naroda i vojske.

Kroz sudbine brojnih likova, Ćosić detaljno opisuje stradanja, patnje i heroizam srpskog naroda tijekom rata. Centralna tema romana je epopeja srpske vojske i naroda tijekom povlačenja preko Albanije, poznata kao Albanska golgota, te kasniji oporavak i pobjedonosni povratak na bojište.
