Milosrđe

Milosrđe

Ivica Raguž

The author wants to explain what mercy means in the everyday life of believers, how to live it, and how it changes a person's relationship with God and other people.

The book emphasizes that mercy is the center of Christian identity, God's fundamental attitude towards man, but also the way in which a believer should relate to others. Raguž warns against misconceptions – mercy is not sentimentality or indulgence, but a demanding love that seeks truth, sacrifice and responsibility. The book conveys that mercy is the path of Christian life: it does not deny sin, but transcends it with God's love; it does not absolve from responsibility, but deepens it. A merciful person participates in God's work – he brings goodness into the world and thus becomes a witness to faith.
