He uncovers the dark background of the impresario's business world, intrigues and conspiracies, and people who are ready to do anything for success and money. Despite all the obstacles, Maigret remains faithful to his distinctive, methodical style of work, observing human traits and psychological aspects of the characters in order to uncover the truth.
