Françoise Sagan
Françoise Sagan (pravo prezime Quoirez), francuska književnica (Cajarc, 21. VI. 1935 – Honfleur, 24. IX. 2004). Pseudonim je uzela prema liku iz ciklusa U potrazi za izgubljenim vremenom M. Prousta. Studirala je na Sorbonnei, bila reporterka časopisa Elle. Njezin je prvi roman Dobar dan, tugo (Bonjour tristesse, 1954), o tragičnim posljedicama frivolnih adolescentskih želja, zahvaljujući nekonvencionalnu pristupu ljubavnoj tematici, izazvao senzaciju. Melodramatski sadržaji te uklopljenost u tradiciju psihol. proze o trenutcima intimnih kriza odlike su i njezinih daljnjih romana: Izvjestan osmijeh (Un certain sourire, 1956), Za mjesec, za godinu (Dans un mois, dans un an, 1957), Volite li Brahmsa? (Aimez-vous Brahms?, 1959). Najuspjelija su joj djela u kojima je miješala fikcionalne s esejističkim i autobiografskim elementima: Modrice na duši (Des bleus à l’âme, 1972), S najljepšim sjećanjem (Avec mon meilleur souvenir, 1984), …S iskrenom sućuti (…Et toute ma sympathie, 1993). Pisala je i drame (Dvorac u Švedskoj – Château en Suède, 1960; Valentinina ljubičasta haljina – La Robe mauve de Valentine, 1963).
