Vladimir Kirin
Croatian painter and printmaker (Zagreb, 31. V. 1894 – Zagreb, 5. X. 1963). Attended the Art Academy in Vienna; trained and worked as a draftsman in London. He painted landscapes, views and portraits (V. Becić, 1928) and published numerous graphic and drawing maps, especially of Croatian historical and architectural monuments (Split, Šibenik, Hvar, Old Zagreb, From the Czech Baroque). He was engaged in illustration and equipment of books; he is responsible for improving the graphic equipment of books in Croatia.
