Eckhart Tolle

Eckhart Tolle (Ulrich Leonard Tölle, Lünen, Germany, February 16, 1948) New Age publicist and lecturer.

Biography Tolle was born in Germany and spent his childhood in Spain. By the age of thirteen, he suffered from chronic anxiety mixed with depression and contemplated suicide.

He studied philosophy, psychology and literature in London. At the age of twenty-nine, he experienced, according to his own words, a "spiritual transformation", something like being drawn into a "vortex of energy", which became a turning point in his life. After that, he started working with individuals and small groups in London as a counselor and spiritual teacher and wrote self-help manuals in which he shared his experience.

He lives and works in Vancouver since 1995. He also lectures around the world.
