Andreu Carranza

Andreu Carranza is a Spanish writer born in 1957 in Ascó. He prefers to describe himself as a self-taught writer and environmentalist particularly inclined to the blues. Since 1991, he has been continuously publishing prose and poetry. Already with his first short story collection "La tinta de la immortalitat" (1991), he gained literary reputation. In 1993, he published the collection of stories "Aigua de València" and tried his hand at a longer prose form with the novel "El desert de l'oblit". Since then, he has independently published six more novels and one, "Gaudí's Key", co-authored with Esteban Martín. He is the winner of numerous literary awards and recognitions.
