Jack London

The novel "White Fang" by Jack London is a novel that depicts life in the northern wilderness and the way in which human behavior affects the shaping of animal behavior.

In this story, we follow the life of a wolf called White Fang, in different periods of his life. We follow how he adapts to different conditions, new surroundings and how he changes his behavior in different situations. We follow all the events, from the second part of the novel onwards, from the perspective of the White Fang. The novel is divided into five parts, and in each we see a different period of Fang's life. The first part can be read as a short story, which serves as an introduction to the action of the rest of the novel. The laws of the wild are presented, as an important theme in the rest of the novel and an important driver of Fang's behavior. We follow two men in the north in the wilderness, who are struggling with the problem of disappearing dogs. A she-wolf appears and lures their dogs into a pack of starving wolves, and in the end only one man and two dogs survive. He tries to drive away the wolves that are getting closer with fire, and is saved by a group of Indians.
