Moja Luca

Moja Luca

Ivan Ivković Ivandekić

Known to the public as a photographer and author of short films that he signs under the pseudonym Klapim, Ivan Ivković Ivandekić also tried his hand at writing short humorous stories, which resulted in a book called Moja Luca.

"A wonderful book about the love between me and my Luca," says Ivković Ivandekić. "It's an easy read for you, a classic love problem: Ive loves Luca, Luca loves Iva, Luca's parents compliment the landlady Josi from Chikerija because I'm poor, and Luca doesn't love Josi... The book was created from about 1,400 'status' that I've been posting on Facebook for the past six years. I made short stories out of them. The book is written in the Bunjevac script, which is rarely seen on Facebook. Today, our ikavica is less and less admired, so I decided to save it from disappearing in this way."
