Car Edip / Antigona

Car Edip / Antigona

Sofoklo

Oedipus the King is the most famous and famous Greek tragedy, first performed around 429. ex. Kr. It belongs to the cycle of three Theban plays, which also includes the plays "Oedipus at Colonus" and "Antigone".

The tragedy "Antigone" is the last in the Theban cycle. In this way, Sophocles connects the tragedies "Oedipus the King", "Oedipus at Colonus" and "Antigone", which is why they are often mistakenly called a trilogy.
