Troja, potraga za istinom - Ilijada, Odiseja

Troja, potraga za istinom - Ilijada, Odiseja

Mirko Marjanović

The book "Troy, the search for truth" deals with themes from Homer's epics "Iliad" and "Odyssey", exploring the historical and mythological aspects of the Trojan War and the adventures of Odysseus.

The Iliad is an epic work that describes the events of the tenth year of the Trojan War, focusing on the anger of Achilles, one of the greatest Achaean heroes. The action spans a period of fifty-one days and depicts the conflict between the Achaeans and the Trojans.

"Odyssey" follows the adventures of the Greek hero Odysseus after the end of the Trojan War and his long return home to Ithaca. The epic describes Odysseus' challenges and trials during his journey, including encounters with mythical creatures such as the Sirens and the Cyclops.

Both epics are classic works of ancient Greek literature and have a great influence on Western culture and literature.
