The Bible through the eyes of great painters is Večernjak's edition, which published in 12 books the greatest works of art with biblical motifs and accompanying quotations, which narratively follow the flow of narration in the Holy Book.
The second part of the Poetic and Wisdom Books begins with Ecclesiastes, a book about the fragility and purpose of life, but also vanitas, the vanity that is reflected in art in still life images dominated by the motif of the transience of earthly life.
