Patuljak iz zaboravljene zemlje

Patuljak iz zaboravljene zemlje

Ahmet Hromadžić

In this work, the writer interweaves the world and motifs of the Forgotten Land with the motifs of his own world, and the motifs of his childhood with the later periods of his life, when he goes back to his village after fifteen years.

He begins his work with the story of Sunčan and Pahuljica, but after a certain part of the story, the writer stops the action and switches to the story of how, where and when he first told the story of Sunčan and Pahuljica. Throughout the work, the writer constantly explains why he stopped the story and answers some imaginary questions, which he assumes the reader asks while reading. At the end of the work, the last chapter of the book is called "The Question I Couldn't Answer". Within that chapter, the author explains why he wrote the book. He directs the last sentence directly to the readers and asks them for help. He asks them to let him know if they find out anything about Sunčan.
