Međunarodno javno pravo / Ugovorno pravo
Contemporary international life requires states to constantly negotiate with each other in order to resolve a number of issues of common interest. Very often it is about solving existing disputes or at least about eliminating certain factors...
Negotiations can also be conducted for the purpose of expanding and strengthening relations between the two countries in certain areas, even when there is no dispute between them in this regard (for example, the expansion of international traffic, trade, cultural ties, etc.). Negotiations can also aim at political cooperation for the sake of mutual assistance or joint action on a wider international level, for eventual defense, etc. It is impossible to enumerate all types of negotiation cases, regardless of the criteria on which they are divided. This proves not only the diversity of the content of negotiations, but also their breadth and importance for all areas of international life.
