Lenjin za početnike

Lenjin za početnike

Richard Appignanesi, Oscar Zarate

"Lenin for Beginners" is a comic by Appignanesi and Zarata, published in 1980 in Zagreb and Belgrade. This comic provides a clever and witty introduction to Lenin, and the drawings are attractive.

Among other things, Lenin had an exceptional ability to perceive the aesthetic possibilities of new media. And their potential for conveying political meanings. Presenting Lenin in comics means in some way imitating such a form of avant-garde, non-conformist thinking.
