The Process is a novel by Franz Kafka, written between 1914 and 1915 and published in 1925.

The Process is one of Kafka's most famous works, it is the story of a man who was arrested and accused by a distant and inaccessible authority, for a crime whose nature remains unknown to both him and the reader.
