Par savjeta za udaju do četrdesete

Par savjeta za udaju do četrdesete

Đurđica Kesak-Ursić

The novel is about the generation born in the sixties, which carried the transition from socialism to capitalism through the war, through the life of a young woman who, like most others, wants to marry the man of her life.

The main character, going through various unsuccessful love affairs with tycoons, married men, deserters - Croatian women dissects reality. Years pass, the heroine does not marry and becomes part of a growing group of unmarried, educated thirty-one-year-old women who, together with wounded men, are part of the lost generation of the sixty-somethings and who are trying to return to normal in various ways. In these attempts, he comes to conclusions that he shares with readers in the form of witty advice.
