The author of about twenty stories published in this collection is a well-known journalist and travel writer. For more than twenty years, during his travels around the world, he recorded true events in which the main characters are animals.
This "animal messenger", as the author himself called it, is full of facts about individual animal species, as well as descriptions of often unbelievable events in which animals are the main characters.
