The novel "Traitor" is the work of the Croatian writer Antun Šoljan, published in 1959. Antun Šoljan (1929–1993) was an important Croatian writer, translator, screenwriter and journalist.

"Traitors" is a novel that deals with the themes of ideological conflicts and moral dilemmas, and the plot is based on the period of post-war Croatia. The novel explores issues of betrayal, the struggle for one's own survival, as well as the moral choices the characters make in extreme circumstances.

Through the characters and their conflicts, Šoljan shows the internal struggles and complexity of human relationships in the post-war reality, exploring the question of what it means to be a "traitor" in a society that is still struggling with post-war consequences and political turbulence. In this work, the author considers a deep moral and philosophical dilemma, raising the question of values ​​and loyalty in the context of war and post-war life.
