Bitke prekretnice hrvatske povijesti

Bitke prekretnice hrvatske povijesti

Hrvoje Kekez

The book covers a total of twenty-five "turning point" battles and wars in Croatian history, from the early Middle Ages to the most recent battles in the Homeland War.

The author's wish is to acquaint a wide readership with the most important battles and wars in Croatian history that were fought on the historical and national territory of the Croatian people and/or outside it.

The book is written in scientific, but also in popular vocabulary, so that even those less knowledgeable readers could gain an insight into this historical topic, but also so that those with a little more knowledge could gain new knowledge.

When writing this book, the results of recent Croatian and world historiography were mainly used, especially those works created in the last two decades. To make it easier to follow the text, the book was accompanied by specially created maps of individual battles and wars and a table of contents at the end of the book.
