Krug Sestara

Krug Sestara

Roger R. Talbot

A suspenseful thriller that combines mysticism, history and contemporary intrigue. The plot takes place on several continents, from Russia and Afghanistan to London and Ireland, following two parallel stories connected by an ancient secret.

In Yekaterinburg, the famous actress Katarina Derzhavina dies in an accident on the set of a film. Her daughter Nadya, a doctor in Afghanistan, suspects murder. The only clue is an old set painting that hides the secret of the ancient Book of Leaves, an artifact from Celtic times that must not fall into the wrong hands. Nadya, with the help of former soldier Kirill, embarks on a dangerous investigation that leads her through complex relationships and the dark secrets of her family.

Meanwhile, in London, young actress Victoria Price receives an offer to become a member of a mysterious sisterhood that holds the formula for a powerful love potion. Led by the charismatic Madame Iv, Victoria enters a world where women such as Anne Boleyn, the Marquise de Pompadour and Marilyn Monroe were members of the "Circle of Sisters", a secret society that has influenced world events from the shadows for centuries.

The novel explores themes of power, secret societies and female influence throughout history, merging the past and the present in a thrilling search for the truth.
