Europska unija

Europska unija

The book The European Union is intended for those who want to gain a certain level of general information about the complex mechanisms of the functioning of the Union and its most important policies.

However, in Croatia there is still a relatively modest number of more systematic works on the European Union by Croatian authors. There is an increasingly significant number of articles in various journals, but they most often deal only with individual topics related to the European Union. The authors tried to alleviate this deficiency to some extent with the book "European Union", which aims to systematically and multidisciplinaryly cover the latest developments in the Union in several different areas at the same time. The authors believe that a good knowledge of the functioning of the Union and all the various opportunities it offers its citizens and member states can ensure a better understanding of Croatia's membership in the Union. They also believe that it is necessary, in addition to all the numerous foreign sources, to provide primarily our undergraduates, but also all other interested readers, with all the basic information about the most important aspects of the European Union, written by our Croatian experts, in one place.
