Moje uspomene (1900. – 1976.)

Božo Milanović

The book is an autobiographical work by the priest, intellectual and national fighter for the rights of Croats in Istria, Monsignor Božo Milanović.

In the work, Milanović chronologically presents memories from his childhood in the Istrian village of Kringa, his education, his vocation as a priest, and all the way to key political moments during the Italian fascist rule in Istria, World War II, and the post-war period. He places special emphasis on the period after the war, when, as a prominent representative of Croats, he participated in political negotiations on the annexation of Istria to mother Croatia (within the then Yugoslavia).
