Starinska priča

Starinska priča

Magda Sabo

The novel Starinska prica from 1978 is one of the most personal and emotional works by Hungarian writer Magda Szabó, in which the author combines a family saga, women's destiny, and criticism of social norms into one powerful literary testimony.

At the end of the eighties, Damir Uzunović traveled to Paris and stayed there for less than a year. He was twenty years old at the time, and that exile episode would be formative for the literature he would later write.
