Kolo vremena 1: Oko svijeta

Kolo vremena 1: Oko svijeta

Robert Jordan

The novel Around the World, the first in the Wheel of Time series, introduces us to an epic fantasy world where the Wheel of Time turns the Ages and legends become myths. First, limited edition with the cover of the Amazon series.

The story begins in Emond’s Field, a remote village in the Two Rivers. Young Rand al’Thor, Mat Cauthon, and Perrin Aybara lead a peaceful life until the mysterious Moiraine Damodred, a member of the powerful Aes Sedai, arrives in the village. She is searching for a hero of prophecy to stand against the Dark One, an evil that threatens the world. After an attack by Trollocs, beastly servants of the Dark One, Moiraine convinces Rand, Mat, Perrin, Egwene al’Vere, and Nynaeve al’Meara to leave the village for safety.

Their journey takes them through a dangerous world filled with magic, monsters, and ancient powers. The group faces threats such as the Shadows and the Lost Ones, as Moiraine and her guardian Lan try to protect the youth. Rand begins to suspect that he is connected to the prophecy of the Dragon Reborn, whose fate could save or destroy the world. The journey leads them to the Eye of the World, a place where they confront dark forces. Jordan's detailed world and complex characters set the stage for an epic saga, exploring themes of fate, power and the struggle of good versus evil.
