Kako je vežbao Bruce Lee

A rare comic book edition from the popular Ex-Almanac series features original footage of Bruce Lee's training, inspired by his films. It covers Lee's life from his childhood in Hong Kong to his rise to fame in Hollywood, focusing on Jeet Kune Do.

This is not an official diary, but an adaptation with over 100 black and white photographs (many then "unpublished" from Asian archives), illustrated with comic scenes and textual descriptions of the exercises.

Main sections:

  • Early training (Wong Fu in Wing Chun, street fighting, the influence of Yip Man)
  • Strength and conditioning (150 kg squats, 500 sit-ups a day, 8 km run, nunchaku exercises)
  • Techniques (fast punches, one-legged escape, sparring with multiple partners, "be like water")
  • Nutrition and mentality (Chinese medicine, meditation, quotes like "Empty your mind")
  • Death and legacy (hypotheses about causes, influence on Yugoslav fight clubs)

Cover with Lee's iconographic portrait in action, inside a mix of real photos (from the films "Hurricane", "Victory of the Dragon") and drawings by local artists. The release was part of Lee's posthumous popularity wave, popular with 80s South-teen kids – many saw the details of his diet and exercise regime here for the first time.

Ultra-rare today, sought after by comic and Lee collectors.
