In the introduction itself, the author explains that the work is "about political/theoretical poetics that insists on the everyday recording and critical commentary of recent political, cultural and other processes, primarily in Croatian society". All of these processes are mostly part of the so-called weak history, but we are still convinced that in these seemingly unimportant and often unrelated details lies the vast majority of the answers to many of our open political and historical questions. And all our wisdom should consist in not only recognizing these invisible signals, which our everyday life discreetly sends us, in time, but also in responding to them adequately and in a timely manner. The author is not only a scientist with great erudition, but also a person who understands politics from the inside and who has held exceptionally responsible positions in the most difficult times, so the polemical, but responsible and argumentative tones are understandable in places.
