Micek, Mucek and Dedek is a fun children's novel by Mate Lovrak about a boy, his grandfather and a rabbit.
Micek is a boy whose parents work all day long and he spends a lot of time with his grandfather Dedek, to whom he is very attached. Grandfather takes Mucek and his four friends to school, and he also makes him a wooden crate for his new pet – the bunny Mucek. But then someone steals his bunny… Mate Lovrak’s entertaining and humorous children’s novel has adventure parts, but the emphasis is on educational elements. It is therefore not surprising that it has also been dramatized and performed in Croatian children’s theaters.
