Noći Los Angelesa
The book "Nights of Los Angeles" (1991) by Pierre Lucas presents a dark and layered picture of life in a large American city, with an emphasis on the night side of Los Angeles.
The plot follows several characters whose lives intertwine over the course of one or more nights on the town. Among them are people from the margins of society, artists, criminals, and ordinary citizens searching for meaning or an escape from reality. Through their stories, the author depicts a world full of contrasts – glamour and wealth on the one hand, and poverty, violence, and loneliness on the other.
