The book Brotherhoods and Craft Corporations in the Republic of Dubrovnik: Dubrovnik Craft Corporations (Guilds) from the 13th to the 16th Century, Volume II, is the work of Dr. Kosta Kneza Vojnović, published in Zagreb in 1900 under the auspices of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts. It is a scientifically prepared edition that combines the author's introductory discussion and a series of original statutes of the Dubrovnik guilds, providing a clear insight into the legal framework, internal organization and everyday life of medieval craftsmen in the Dubrovnik Republic.

The content is systematically arranged by century, from the 13th to the 16th, so the reader can follow the continuity and changes in craft rules, discipline, obligations of members, apprentices and masters, as well as the guilds' relations with the authorities.

The appendices bring the statutes of individual professions: from the oldest preserved statute of carpenters (maranguna) from the 13th century, through the 14th century with two statutes of goldsmiths and the rules of blacksmiths and coppersmiths (coilers) and shoemakers, to the 15th century with the guilds of butigars (shopkeepers) and cappers. The sixteenth century concludes the review with the statutes of the brotherhood of Saint Lazarus (eastern merchants) and furriers. This chronological series shows the extensiveness of the Dubrovnik craft scene and its connection with the trade routes of the Mediterranean.

The edition is intended for historians, archivists and all those who research the urban culture and economy of the city. Precise transcriptions, terminology of the profession and editorial notes on sources make the book a basic manual for understanding guild institutions, their influence on product quality, prices, apprenticeship and the social order of the Republic.
