Droga opća opasnost
This book is primarily intended for parents who do not yet have a drug problem with their children, or parents whose children are only of preschool or school age.
The first part of the book explains the basic concepts related to drugs, how addiction occurs, and why young people most often enter the world of drugs. The author particularly emphasizes risk factors such as family problems, bad company, and lack of information.
The second part describes different types of drugs and their harmful effects on health – physical, psychological, and social. Real examples of addicts are also presented to show the consequences of long-term abuse.
The third part focuses on prevention and treatment, with an emphasis on the importance of family, school, and society in preventing addiction. The book also provides advice to parents on how to recognize signs of addiction and how to react.
The conclusion of the work is that drugs are a “general danger” because they destroy health, family, and society, and that the best fight against them is timely education and prevention.
