Ritam strasti

Boa

Ritam strasti is the second studio album by Zagreb band Boa, released on audio cassette in 1982. It brings a sophisticated blend of new wave, art rock, and pop sensibilities through atmospheric songs and complex arrangements.

Ritam strasti is the second studio album by the Zagreb band Boa, released in 1982, and this release is available in audio cassette format. The album confirms the band's authorial maturity after their successful debut release and further develops their recognizable sound based on a combination of new wave, art rock, synth elements and sophisticated pop expression.

On this album, Boa brings ten songs characterized by elegant arrangements, emphasized keyboards, melodic guitars and introspective lyrics. Among the standout tracks are Jer ljubav je, Zaraza rada, Vrijeme može čekati, Ljudožder, Kriva priča, Dođi, Sve što daješ, Ne odajte me sad, Slatke čari and Moj put.

The album was recorded at the Swedish studio Ferger Studios, with production contributions from the band itself and Sjunne Ferger, which gave Boa a modern and internationally colored sound characteristic of the early eighties. A special place on the album is occupied by love and introspective themes, as well as reflections on relationships, identity and personal turmoil, which makes it one of the most important releases of the Zagreb new wave.

The audio cassette represents an authentic sound carrier from the time of the original release and is a valuable copy for collectors and fans of the domestic art rock and new wave scene.
