Chronicling Peaceful Reintegration into Home, School, and Baranja (2021) is a local chronicle / personal record of the process of peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danube region (especially Baranja) and the return of displaced persons to their homes
The book documents the period after the Erdut Agreement (1995) and the activities of UNTAES (1996–1998), when Baranja was peacefully returned to the constitutional and legal order of the Republic of Croatia. The author focuses on everyday aspects of reintegration: return to homes, reconstruction of the school system, adaptation of children and families, and the challenges of coexistence in a multinational environment after years of occupation and persecution. It is a testimony that combines personal and local experiences with the broader historical context of peaceful reintegration, emphasizing the importance of returning to normal life, education, and community reconstruction in Baranja.
