Ponovni susret

Mary Higgins-Clark

Molly Carpenter Lasch is in the dock, accused of killing her husband, Gary, the owner of Lasch Hospital. Although he does not remember anything, on the advice of his lawyer, he admits his guilt.

After serving less than six years in prison, he is released and announces to the press that he will do everything to prove his innocence.

Fran Simmons, an up-and-coming journalist who was also Molly's colleague at the academy, devotes herself to her case and promises to shed light on it in its entirety. Fran, as well as Molly's lawyer Philip Matthews and friend Jenna, do not believe in her innocence, but at the same time, they are the only people who really want to help her.

So the two of them go in search of answers and discover a whole web of lies, intrigues, conspiracies and cover-up murders, and as the story progresses, it seems more and more that Molly is innocent.
