Ekonomika
A textbook of political economy intended for students of economic schools and colleges. The work provides a systematic overview of basic economic concepts, focusing on political economy in the context of the socialist system of the SFRY.
The book is structured to cover key topics: the basics of political economy, production, distribution and consumption, with an emphasis on socio-economic relations. The authors elaborate on concepts such as value, price, profit and market, linking them to the practice of self-managed socialism. Special attention is paid to the analysis of industrial capital, trade and the role of the state in the regulation of economic processes. The work also includes a historical overview of the development of economic thought, from classical economists to Marxist theory, adapted to the Yugoslav context.
The manual is written in clear and accessible language, with an emphasis on the practical application of theoretical knowledge, which makes it a valuable learning tool. Although primarily aimed at educational purposes, it also reflects the specifics of the economic system of Yugoslavia in the 1960s. The book was widely used in educational institutions, and its relevance is reflected in its thorough approach to economic principles.
