Bakonja fra Brne is a novel published in 1892 by Simo Matavulj. The plot is set in Dalmatinska Zagora around 1870, and the title character is a young man who, following the family tradition, becomes one of the Franciscan monks in the Visovac monastery.
Desnica wrote two novels: Winter Holidays (1950) and Spring by Ivan Galeb (1957). In the first, he juxtaposes the rural and urban worlds by examining differences in mentality, customs and civilizational habits. The first shortened edition.
