"Carnation from the Poet's Grave" is a short story by Augusta Šenoa, written as his personal testimony about how, as a writer and fighter for his nationality, he turned to the fight against Germanization and Slavism.
"Sartoris" is one of Faulkner's earlier works and part of his larger cycle about the fictional Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, which appears in many of his novels.
