Nikola Kraljić

The book "Pruka" contains 79 new poems by Nikola Kraljić, arranged in three cycles: "What's Between", "In the House, in the Tree, in the Land" and "Without a Hat on the Language".

In addition to the poems, the book also contains a critical essay on Kraljić's poetry, a bio-bibliography of the author and a dictionary of Chakavian words, terms and phrases.

Kraljić's poetry explores themes such as love, nature and life. His songs often recognize the sublime in nature and celebrate life. In "The Message", death is distanced from general meanings and associated with erotic elements. Through his verses, Kraljić takes us on a journey through bright moments of life and memory.
