Kanonske vizitacije knjiga I. - Baranja 1729.-1810.
Canonical visitations are, of course, written in the official Latin language. Their originals are kept in the Diocesan Archives in Pécs.
Thanks to the friendliness and kindness of the Pécs Diocese and the County Archives in Pécs, the State Archives in Osijek received, in the form of cooperation and data exchange, a recorded canonical visitation of southern Baranja (now an area in Croatia), for the years: 1729, 1738, 1757, 1782. and 1810. The first, i.e., the oldest visitations, are very short, unreadable, difficult to read (actually concepts), and only from the middle of the 18th century they are more transparent, written in clear script, but missing for some parishes. Nevertheless, on the basis of other years, these gaps can be easily filled in and thus have an insight into the state of parishes, villages and other things during 100 years, i.e. from the beginning of the 18th to the beginning of the 19th century.
