Cvijeće u vrtu

Cvijeće u vrtu

First of all, a garden is a place where flowers grow. Part of the garden is intended for roses, climbers, shrubs and trees - species that produce woody shoots and thus form the basic structure of the garden all year round.

In small gardens, there is often not enough space for certain groups of shrubs that bloom from early spring to late fall. In large gardens, on the other hand, we look for floral details that only woody species can provide. We want bright flower carpets in spring, blooming flower beds and rock gardens. For all these purposes, from filling narrow spaces between stones to the abundance of flowers on flower beds and in front of hedges, herbaceous flower species will serve us. These are one-year and two-year species, then perennials whose aerial parts die in winter, various bulbs or seeds that wait for spring to sprout.

The purpose of this book is to provide information on the selection, care and propagation of this vast group of garden flower plants.
