Kutuzov I-III

Kutuzov I-III

Leontij Rakovski

Mikhail Ilarionovich Kutuzov was a Russian general and strategist, primarily known for the battles of Austerlitz in 1805 and Borodino in 1812.

Kutuzov is one of the greatest Russian heroes of old, perhaps the most important after his teacher Suvorov, and several monuments have been erected in his honor. Alexander Pushkin glorified it, and it was also described in Tolstoy's novel War and Peace.
