Nefertiti je bila legendarna egipatska kraljica, poznata po svojoj izuzetnoj lepoti.

Nefertiti se udala za Ehnatona, egipatskog prestolonaslednika. Njeni snovi su se ostvarili, postala je poznata i stekla neograničenu moć. Bila je miljenica naroda i najbliži savetnik svog muža. Nakon što je Ehnaton raskinuo sa hiljadugodišnjom verskom tradicijom i okrenuo se novom bogu Atonu, navukao je gnev sveštenstva i vojske. Egipat je bio rastrgan unutrašnjim podelama i pretnjama ratom. Vođen političkom ambicijom bolesnog faraona, Egipat se našao na ivici propasti.
