Zavičaj, zaborav

Zavičaj, zaborav

Ludwig Bauer

The fate of the Danubian Germans, the individual against the system, and the relationship between men and women in a time burdened by history - the great themes of Ludwig Bauer - deeply pervade the novel Homeland, Oblivion.

The main character is a true idealist, a man who has not been pampered by life. Growing up with his stepfather and stepmother, he learned his real name and origin only as a young man. In order to escape from the narrowness of his homeland, he goes to study in a big city, and his left-wing ideals lead him further to Czechoslovakia and East Germany.

Ronilac bisera
